Smart TV
Video Art Works can be viewed on Smart TVs several ways including use of USB ports generally located in the rear or on the sides of the TV or by “Casting” the Video Art from a different device onto the screen of the TV.
Watch using a USB Port:
Most Smart TVs come with a USB port located in the rear or the side of the TV that can be used to watch your Video Art. Place the downloaded file onto a thumb drive/portable drive and connect the thumb drive/portable drive directly to the Smart TV or TV Monitor.
A Media Device, such as a Set Top Box or Media Player can be attached to the Smart TV. The downloaded file can be placed in the built-in storage of the Media Device if available or if the device has a USB port, the downloaded file can be placed onto a thumb drive/portable drive and that drive can be connected to the Media Device. The Video Art Work can then be viewed on the TV Screen through the Media Device connected to the TV.
Cast from one screen to another:
Screen Mirroring or Screen Casting allows you to replicate (or “Cast”) the screen of a device wirelessly onto your TV screen. Today’s Smartphones, Tablets, Lap Tops and Computers have the ability to Mirror or “Cast” their screens onto TV screens. While the methods may differ from one device to another, the process is fairly simple using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. The steps for “Mirroring or Casting” are usually found in a device’s settings or within a Media Application on the device used for casting.
Example devices and applications used for casting media to TV Screens:
- Apple and Mac Devices use an application called “AirPlay”
- Android devices use an application called “Chromecast”
- Windows Computers use an application called “Miracast”

Set Top Box
Set Top Boxes or Media Players that are connected to a Smart TV can be used to watch Video Art Works that are stored directly or externally onto the device.
There are a multitude of devices used to extend the viewing capabilities of Smart TVs from traditional Set Top Boxes, to new generation Set Top Boxes, to Media Players and Media Streamers. Whatever the type of device, it can be used to watch Video Art Work files. The downloaded file can be placed in the built-in storage of the Media Device if available or if the device has a USB port, the downloaded file can be placed onto a thumb drive/portable drive and that drive can be connected to the Media Device. The Video Art Work can then be viewed on the TV Screen through the Media Device.
The Media Device can also use Wi-Fi and or Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to various content sources and have the ability to access and play Video Art Files stored in another location and display the files on to the TV Screen.
Tablet/Smartphone
You can watch Video Art Works on Tablet or Smart Phone screens for a more portable viewing experience. Tablets and Smartphones can also be used to “Cast” Video Art Works from their screens to TV Screens.
Watch on the Tablet or Phone:
You can download a Video Art Work directly to the Tablet or Smartphone using a Web Browser immediately after purchasing a Work or at a later time if desired. The downloaded file can then be played using a Media Application/Player on the device like any other media file stored locally on the device.
In some situations you may be able to play the video file stored on another device wirelessly to the Tablet or Smartphone through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth wireless connection. This may involve use of a Media Application with this feature installed on the Tablet or Smartphone.
